Homework for tonight:
Language Arts: sentence variety using parts of speech
List 3 examples for each of the following:
1. Nouns 2. Adjectives 3. Verbs 4. prepositions (12 words in total)
Write four sentences. Sentence 1 starts with a noun. Sentence 2 starts with an adjective. Sentence 3 starts with a verb. Sentence 4 starts with a preposition.
Math: p. 264, 265, 266 had better be completed and ready to correct tomorrow.
Science: review the 50 vocabulary words we went over. The sheet is posted on my wiki.

Math: finish pages 153, 154, 155, 156. Mathletics. Review the measurement song. Know how to find the perimeter of a shape! Big, Huge, massive test on this tomorrow. (Just checking if you were reading this.)
Science: We worked on creating electricity from magnets today. Fun!

We did some great learning today! In math, we explored angles using an interactive protractor in the Notebook program, then found angles in the real world using Scribblemaps.
Social Studies: we are working on a brochure for New France (Canada in the 1600s) convincing someone to come start an new life there.
LA: Caught up on DLR - Tuesday week 22 and DPE - Tuesday week 19. Finish reading Bridge to Terabithia.
Science: Review electricity. We worked on vocabulary on our class Wikispace and then did some work on Prezi (a presentation program)
French: did word review, learned new words and sang some songs in French.

We've had a very busy week. We've been working on electricity in Science which has been fun. We've built series and parallel circuits. Today we built a working motor! Review your notes.
LA: We've been doing plenty of grammar and editing, as well as reading and discussing Shakespeare's Hamlet and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Catch up on DLR week 22 and DPE week 19. Finish reading Bridge to Terabithia. Don't worry about the chapter questions for now. Work on spelling city!
Math. P. 211, 212. Mathletics, Some people are in dire need of MORE BASIC FACTS PRACTICE!
