Math:
Continue your journey to become a basic facts ninja! Our goal is to be able to do 40 operations in one minute. We have been working on long division and will be having a quiz on it on Monday.
Language Arts:
We have been writing a lot, working on "Mr. Linden's Library." We have started our Bridge to Terabithia novel study and students should be done the work for chapters 1 and 2.
Science:
We are still working on our Weather unit. Students should be keeping a daily log of the weather. So far we have built 2 different types of anemometers, a weathervane and a barometer. Students should know why we have seasons, what causes wind, the water cycle and more! Learn your cloud types this week.
Social Studies:
We are working on a project to summarize the regions of Canada. It is a map of Canada with the regions labelled and with three symbols representing the landscape, natural resources and climate of the region. (3 symbols for each one!)
