Math: We worked quite a bit on:
What addition means, what subtraction means, what multiplication means (repeated addition; 2x5 instead of 2+2+2+2+2) and what division means. Students should be able to explain division. ie. which numbers represent how many you have, how many groups and how many in each group.

Social: Students should be able to define "landform" and give three examples of landforms in the Appalachian region. They should be able to tell you some things about the region (eg. which provinces it includes.) They should also be able to define "erosion".
